Former financial controller of ST Marine to plead guilty in graft case

A FORMER group financial controller of shipyard ST Marine - the last of five former employees of the company to be hauled up in court in a corruption scandal that allegedly involved bribing agents of the firm's customers in return for contracts between 2004 and 2010 - has indicated his intention to plead guilty.
Patrick Lee Swee Ching was charged on Wednesday. He faces 38 counts of abetting false entries for entertainment expenses worth over S$126,000, according to a statement by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB).
