Former perm sec Tan Tee How joins board of CLCT’s manager
FORMER permanent secretary Tan Tee How has joined the board of CapitaLand China Trust Management, which manages CapitaLand China Trust.
As non-executive independent director, Tan will contribute to the board’s deliberations, CLCT’s manager said on Tuesday (Aug 1).
He is concurrently the chairman of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore and National Healthcare Group, and holds board appointments in Chip Eng Seng and Hong Leong Finance, to name a few.
Tan had served in Singapore’s administrative service for 34 years. He was Commissioner of Inland Revenue and chief executive of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore from 2014 until he retired on Feb 1, 2018.
He was principal private secretary to former prime minister Goh Chok Tong from 1997 to 2000, and later the founding chief executive of National Healthcare Group from 2000 to 2004.
Tan was later appointed permanent secretary of the Ministry of National Development from 2004 to 2011, and permanent secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs from 2011 to 2014.
