FOUR entrepreneurs have been named winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 award.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Engineering Services and Process Equipment category is Kar Wong, the managing director of Advanced Group of Companies.
Susan Chong, the chief executive officer of Greenpac is EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Sustainable Packaging Solutions category.
Taking the award in the Professional Services category is Ong Tze Boon, the group executive chairman of ONG&ONG.
In the Food and Beverages sector, the award goes to Alfred Chua, the managing director of The Wok People.
One of these four will be named the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Singapore, and represent the country at the annual EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year (WEOY) award in Monte Carlo in 2015.

Singapore's representative to the WEOY award will be announced at the EY EOY Awards Gala on Dec 2.
Separately, EY and Barclays presented the EY-Barclays Family Business Award of Excellence to B.P. De Silva Holdings. This is an honorary award presented on the EOY platform; the award recipient does not compete for the EOY Singapore 2014 title).
