FRASERS Property was notified of the existence of unauthorised Telegram accounts impersonating Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) and/or a “Frasers Commercial Trust”, as well as representatives of these entities.

Frasers Commercial Trust merged with Frasers Logistics & Industrial Trust in 2020 to become Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust.

The messages from these accounts are reportedly part of a phishing scam. The company says that it will never use Telegram or any other social media channels to request for financial or personal information, and neither will its sponsored real estate investment trusts – FCT, Frasers Logistics and Commercial Trust, and Frasers Hospitality Trust.

The group warns that these accounts could attempt to engage with shareholders and the public, or solicit sensitive information under false pretenses.

Frasers Property reminds shareholders and members of the public not to respond or share any personal information with these accounts. Any suspicious accounts or activity should be reported to Telegram immediately.
