Frasers Property appoints ThaiBev CEO to board of directors
FRASERS Property has appointed Thai Beverage : Y92 0% president and chief executive Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi as its non-executive, non-independent director effective Jan 1, 2023.
He will also join as a member of the company’s board executive committee and remuneration committee (RC).
Sirivadhanabhakdi sits on the board of six other listed companies including Fraser and Neave as well as Thai Group Holdings and Siam Cement, which are principally engaged in food & beverage, insurance and building materials, respectively.
Meanwhile, Charles Mak, Chan Heng Wing, Philip Eng, Weerawong Chittmittrapap and Chotiphat Bijananda will cease to be non-executive, non-independent directors of Frasers Property – also with effect from Jan 1, 2023.
Following the cessation of their appointments, lead independent director Chin Yoke Choong will replace Eng as chairman of the RC, in which Chin is presently a member.
The group’s non-executive and independent director Pramoad Phornprapha will be appointed chairman of the nominating committee as well as the sustainability and risk management committee in place of Chittmittrapap and Bijananda respectively.

Frasers Property : TQ5 0% on Monday (Dec 12) said the appointments and changes to the composition of its board and board committees are in line with the company’s plans for board refreshment and renewal.
The Mainboard-listed counter closed Friday unchanged at S$0.94.
