Fullerton Health unit buys Indonesian managed healthcare firm Medilum
AN Indonesian subsidiary of managed healthcare provider Fullerton Health said on Friday it has acquired PT JLT GESA, or Medilum. No purchase price was stated.
Medilum provides managed healthcare and third-party administration services to over 1,400 healthcare providers in Indonesia.
Fullerton Health's subsidiary Global Assistance & Healthcare (GAH), a medical assistance firm, made the acquisition.
With the acquisition, Medilum's expertise can be combined with GAH's existing range of healthcare services, said a joint press release by the two companies.
"Together, the companies' combined services represent Indonesia's only complete, integrated corporate healthcare solutions company and the country's third-largest managed care provider by market share," the release said.
Fullerton Health is said to be currently looking to raise around S$300 million in a listing on Singapore Exchange.
