Fundraising activity on Catalist rises to S$3.8b over past 5 years
FUNDRAISING activity on the Catalist has risen significantly for the five-year period from 2013 and has helped speed up the growth of companies.
The Singapore Exchange (SGX) on Thursday said from 2013 to 2017 year to date, S$3.8 billion was raised by Catalist companies on the primary and secondary market, compared with S$2 billion raised between 2008 and 2012.
The funds raised by Catalist companies at the time of listing went up 120 per cent between 2013 and 2017 year to date, compared with the 2008 to 2012 period.
