Funds raised by SGX listings this year surge to S$1.6b

THE Singapore Exchange has seen nine initial public offerings, one reverse takeover and one secondary listing so far this year, compared with just three IPOs in the corresponding period a year ago.
Total funds raised from the deals in the 2016 year-to-date is S$1.6 billion, up more that 28 times from that raised in the year-ago period (S$56 million).
