Genting Singapore proposes higher final dividend of S$0.02

Q4 net profit down 17%, but net profit for full year more than doubled to S$601 million

A DROP in operating profit weighed on fourth-quarter earnings at casino operator Genting Singapore.

Net profit for the three months to Dec 31 slid 17 per cent to S$132.8 million, compared with S$159.2 million from the same period a year earlier.

Earnings per share was down 17 per cent to 1.1 Singapore cents, from 1.33 Singapore cents previously.
