Genting Singapore Q2 losses narrow to S$10.5m
GENTING Singapore posted a loss of S$10.5 million for the second quarter from a loss of S$16.9 million a year ago on the back of waning business in the VIP gaming segment.
Revenue fell 17 per cent to S$481 million.
Adjusted ebitda (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) slipped 61 per cent to S$116 million from S$296 million a year ago.
Loss per share stood at 0.09 Singapore cent from a loss of 0.14 Singapore cent a year ago.
No dividend was recommended for the period.
The counter gained one Singapore cent or 1.3 per cent to finish at 79.5 Singapore cents on Thursday.
