CASINO operator Genting Singapore's third-quarter net profit rocketed 187.2 per cent to S$106.9 million from the previous year's S$37.2 million, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Thursday.
For the three months ended Sept 30, 2016, revenue dropped 8.6 per cent to S$581.5 million from S$636 million in the year-ago period.
Earnings per share shot up to 0.89 Singapore cents from 0.31 Singapore cents in the preceding year. Net asset value per share dipped to 60.4 Singapore cents as at Sept 30, from 61 Singapore cents as at nine months ago.
The group proposed an interim dividend per share of 1.5 Singapore cents, from no dividend in the corresponding period in the preceding year.
Genting Singapore shares on Thursday closed S$0.015 or 2 per cent up at S$0.76.
