MALAYSIAN conglomerate Gen-ting posted a 23.6 per cent drop in third-quarter profit on Friday, dragged lower by the impact of falling revenue from big money gamblers on its Singapore unit, South-east Asia's largest casino operator.
Group net profit for July-September dropped to RM352.7 million (S$137 million) from RM462 million a year earlier, according to a local stock exchange filing.
