Global airline shares up 4% in Nov; Asia-Pac carriers buck rise

WORLDWIDE airline shares rose 4 per cent month-on-month in November, outperforming the broader market which was up 1 per cent.
However, it has been a rough ride for Asia-Pacific carriers, whose share prices have slipped 6 per cent since the beginning of the year, in line with a weaker financial performance, a report by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) showed.
