Gold price expected to see bigger swings in Q2

GOLD price volatility is likely to be higher in the second quarter, given the mixed outlook, said broker Phillip Futures in a report yesterday.
Among the bearish factors weighing on gold prices are speculative safe haven hedges which have arisen after several defaults in China instilled fear among investors.
This may wear off as the government shows that it is ultimately still in control, Phillip Futures said.
