Golden Agri's Q2 profit surges on deferred tax income boost

DEFERRED tax income helped give a lift to earnings for Golden Agri-Resources for its second quarter, even as revenue slid.
Net profit rocketed 279 per cent to US$39.5 million from the previous year, the palm oil plantation giant said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Friday morning.
