Singapore AUDIT, tax and advisory services provider Grant Thornton launched its Singapore office on Tuesday, the first in its network of member firms to be funded and directly supported by Grant Thornton International.
Grant Thornton Singapore's chief executive Peter Allen said: "This is the first time the organisation has deliberately invested its own financial resources in this sort of initiative."
He noted that the company's structure had been one of independently operating member firms; now, the organisation was financing its own network and thus having ultimate control over operations.
