GUOCOLEISURE Limited (GLL) will be delisting from the main board of the New Zealand Exchange (NZX) on June 27 next year.

The decision to delist GLL was made because holdings of shareholders on the New Zealand branch of GLL's share register now represent only 4.2 per cent of GLL's total outstanding shares on issue, and trading in GLL's shares on the NZX has been light in recent years, GLL said in a statement to the NZX yesterday.

The company said that in the year to date, the average daily turnover of GLL ordinary shares traded on NZX was only 22,567, for an average daily value of NZ$16,970 (S$17,600). Last year, average daily turnover was 20,542 and average daily value was NZ$12,079.
