Hailo sees its track record giving it an edge here
Having "experienced one of our best launches ever in Singapore", it aims to replicate its success in places like Hong Kong and Seoul.
BEING the fourth and newest entrant in Singapore's increasingly competitive third-party taxi-booking application scene doesn't faze Ron Zeghibe one bit.
The 57-year-old executive chairman and co-founder of Hailo is banking on his company's track record - to date, Hailo has carried over 30 million passengers around the world, and counting - to give it the edge over its rivals here.
"In Singapore, there's currently a very healthy playing field with four quality taxi-booking apps in healthy competition with one another," says the London-based American in an interview with The Business Times.
