Halcyon Agri up 8.7% on speculation of possible takeover deal

SPECULATION of a possible takeover sent shares in Halcyon Agri soaring 8.7 per cent on Tuesday, before the firm called for a trading halt in the afternoon.
The counter was last traded at 69 Singapore cents, 5.5 cents higher than the previous close.
