Hamburg Sud gives Maersk quantum leap in Latin America, Oceania growth

    DANISH shipping giant Maersk Line is eyeing a quantum leap in growth in Latin America and Oceania with the multi-billion-dollar acquisition of Hamburg Sud, chief commercial officer, Vincent Clerc said on Monday.

    Mr Clerc added that with this M&A, Maersk Line and Hamburg Sud will be able to put products it has full operational control over into Asia-Latin America trades.
