SOME 70 children participated in an OCBC Mighty Savers financial literacy event held at orchardgateway last Saturday, to help them better understand concepts of spending wisely and the value of sound investments, how to differentiate needs from wants, as well as how to give back to the community through games and a talk by an OCBC Bank wealth specialist.
Prizes were presented to participants who achieved the 10 highest scores. Eleven-year-old Jayden Koe (above) received the top prize of a tablet with his score of S$36,749.34 from Dennis Tan, head of consumer financial services Singapore at OCBC.
