Hedge fund CFM reports double digit returns in Stratus and Discus funds: source
HEDGE fund CFM (Capital Fund Management) posted double-digit returns in two of its funds for the year 2023, said a source on Friday (Jan 5).
The US$12.5 billion hedge fund, famous for its systematic strategies returned, last year, 14.82 per cent in its Discus and 11.31 per cent in its Stratus funds, the source said.
Global hedge funds in 2023 averaged a 5.7 per cent return in the year through November, according to hedge fund research firm PivotalPath. Equities and credit-focused strategies were the best performers, while macro and managed futures lagged. REUTERS
