High Court places Oriental Group under interim judicial management

THE Singapore High Court has placed steel trader and manufacturer Oriental Group under interim judicial management.
Detailing this in a release after market close on Monday, the Catalist-listed company said that on Jan 12, Muk Siew Peng of KordaMentha Pte Ltd has been appointed the interim judicial manager.
This came after a creditor had applied to the court to place Oriental Group under judicial management.
