AFTER opening a record 110 hotels in the Asia-Pacific region in 2022, Hilton’s next big focus is beefing up its uber-luxury and entry-level offerings in major cities and resort destinations in the region.

The multinational hospitality company is on track to operate 1,000 trading hotels in Apac by 2025, but it does not plan to achieve this by rapidly expanding into new markets.

Rather, the priority is making sure that the group has all its core brands deployed in mega cities and resort locations, Hilton’s Apac president Alan Watts told The Business Times.
