Holding out for better exit may prove more painful for Tiger's minorities

    TO TAKE or not to take?

    That seems to be the question now that Singapore Airlines (SIA) was forced into raising its offer price for Tiger Airways from 41 Singapore cents per share to 45 cents as the budget carrier's minority shareholders held out for more.

    This revised offer at 45 cents - a near 10 per cent boost to its original offer price - is SIA's final offer, the airline has warned.
