Hong Kong stocks finish with gains
HONG Kong stocks clawed back early losses to close higher on Thursday (Apr 27), despite a major initial public offering by Chinese baijiu maker ZJLD fizzling on its debut.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.42 per cent, or 83.01 points, to 19,840.28.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.67 per cent, or 21.78 points, to 3,285.89, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange was up 0.12 per cent, or 2.40 points, at 2,027.47. AFP
