Hong Leong Asia's CEO resigns; no replacement named yet
HONG Leong Asia's director and chief executive officer Tan Eng Kwee has resigned from the company.
In an exchange filing on Thursday evening, the mainboard-listed company said he is leaving to "pursue other interests". His last day with the company is Aug 16.
The 66-year-old joined the company in December 2018, taking over from former CEO Philip Ting. He was formerly chief financial officer at Hong Leong Asia from 2008 to 2011.
The company said it is in the process of finalising the appointment of a replacement to succeed Mr Tan and will make the announcement soon.
