H78 Holdings chief financial officer (CFO) Simon Dixon has decided to step down from his role at the end of August 2021 to return to Australia, the group said on Thursday in a bourse filing.
He will be succeeded by Craig Beattie, the CFO of Mandarin Oriental International, a member of Jardine Matheson. Mr Beattie's new appointment will take effect on Sept 1.
Mr Beattie first joined Jardine Matheson in 2006 and has held several senior finance roles across the group. These include finance director for South Asia of Hongkong Land, group finance director of Jardine Motors Group in the UK, as well as group treasurer of Jardine Matheson.
Mr Beattie has been CFO of Mandarin Oriental since November 2018. From Sept 1, he will be replaced by Matthew Bishop, who will be appointed director and CFO, Mandarin Oriental International said in a separate press statement.
Hongkong Land chief executive Robert Wong said: "I would like to thank Simon for the major contribution he has made to the group over the past five years. He has been instrumental in driving operational and business process improvements."
Mr Wong added that Mr Dixon also played a key role in new group investments and improving the group's sustainability efforts.
