Hot stock: Keppel Corp declines 5.1% after earnings fall

SHARES of Keppel Corporation declined on Friday (Feb 3), the day after the group reported lower H2 earnings.
The index counter shed as much as 5.5 per cent or S$0.42 to S$7.23 in late morning trading, before ending the day S$0.39 or 5.1 per cent lower at S$7.26 on turnover of 12.4 million shares.
Keppel’s share price movements came after the group on Thursday reported a 40.6 per cent year-on-year decline in net profit to S$429.1 million for the second half ended December, from S$722.9 million.
