Hot stock: Nio climbs about 19.8% on stronger vehicle delivery performance
SHARES of Nio surged on Thursday (May 2) morning, after the electric vehicle maker posted a 134.6 per cent year-on-year spike in vehicle deliveries for the month of April.
As at 10.59 am, the Chinese automaker rose 19.8 per cent or US$0.93 to US$5.63 after 207.3 million of its shares were transacted. The last time the counter traded at this level was in mid-March.
In a business update on Wednesday, the company said it recorded the delivery of 15,620 vehicles in April.
