Hot stock: Sembcorp rises 3.5% to 5-month high on heavy volumes

SHARES of Sembcorp Industries rose on Tuesday (Jan 30) morning amid brisk trading on strong volumes.
As at 10.02 am, the industrial and urban solutions group gained S$0.19 or 3.5 per cent to S$5.60 after 2.1 million shares were traded. The last time Sembcorp traded at such levels was in August 2023.
The counter later eased to S$5.55 by 10.19 am, representing a 2.6 per cent or S$0.14 increase.
