Hot stock: Singtel shares surge above S$4

SINGTEL shares on Monday surged to a high of S$4.03 at about 1.30pm, having risen steadily since it opened at S$3.99 - unchanged from Friday's close.
It was trading at about S$4.02 at 2.36pm.
Just last week, the telco unveiled a new brand identity - its first brand refresh in 16 years - that came with a new logo, tagline and promise to improve customers' experiences with the company.
