Hot stock: YuuZoo shares up by 10% on higher Q1 net profit, revenue
YUUZOO, the mainboard-listed social media, e-commerce and entertainment company, was among the most active stocks on the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
Some 37,757.4 shares worth S$8.32 million changed hands as at 3.15 pm. The stock is up by 10 per cent from its previous close of S$0.20 to S$0.22.
On Thursday, YuuZoo reported that net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016, stood at S$12.8 million, compared with S$4.3 million a year ago. Revenue surged to S$45 million from S$13.1 million, on stronger e-commerce revenue and franchise sales.
