Proposed disposal comes as company says two-thirds of 706m yuan order in a key segment has been delayed

HU AN Cable Holdings is facing calls by a local government in China to sell its subsidiaries even as the company revealed that two-thirds of orders in a key business segment have been delayed.
The cable and wire maker said on Tuesday that the local government of Wuxi City, Guanlin Town in China has proposed that the cable and wire maker sell its three Chinese subsidiaries to one Yixing Jinxiao Copper Industry Co.
