IHH Healthcare CEO Kelvin Loh resigns

MALAYSIAN hospital operator IHH Healthcare’s managing director and chief executive Kelvin Loh has voluntarily resigned, the group said in a bourse filing on Wednesday (Feb 22).
At the time of publishing, no replacement has been named, and no reason was given for Dr Loh’s resignation.
He assumed the managing director and chief executive position at IHH Healthcare on Jan 1, 2020, having taken over the top job from now-Minister for Manpower Tan See Leng.
From 2017 to July 2019, Dr Loh was chief executive at hospital operator Columbia Asia, IHH Healthcare said, where he oversaw 28 hospitals across four countries in Asia, before joining the group as chief executive-designate.
Shares of IHH Healthcare closed 0.6 per cent or S$0.01 higher at S$1.83 on Wednesday, prior to the announcement.
