IN two concurrent moves that will make IHH Healthcare Berhad the largest private healthcare provider in Bulgaria, its indirect subsidiary has inked two deals - an acquisition and a merger - valued at about 76 million euros (S$115.7 million).
In a filing with the local bourse on Thursday, IHH said its indirect subsidiary, Acibadem Saglik Hizmetleri ve Ticaret AS (Acibadem Holdings), on Wednesday agreed to buy Bulgaria- based Tokuda Hospital and its subsidiaries, as well as merge with City Clinic, another healthcare operator in Bulgaria.
