Karin Technology H1 earnings rise 71.9%
KARIN Technology Holdings' net profit for the six months ended December was HK$31.8 million (S$5.5 million), up 71.9 per cent compared to a year ago, due to higher revenue in its components distribution segment, and higher gross margins in its consumer electronics products segment. Meanwhile, revenue fell 5.9 per cent to HK$1.54 billion. The company also said its subsidiary, Compucon Computers, has secured two new distributorships in Hong Kong. Since January, Compucon has become the distributor for all the products of TYLT which focuses on accessories for mobile devices, and for Samsung's printers.
