Initiatives to position SIA for the future falling in place: CEO

AFTER a tough 2014, Singapore Airlines (SIA) is starting this year with a renewed optimism, as the major components of its strategy to position the group for the future are now taking shape, said its chief executive Goh Choon Phong.
"We knew that the foundation to meet the challenges could not be built overnight. While it has taken time, we are now at the stage where key milestones are being reached," he wrote in a New Year's message in SIA's in-house newsletter, Outlook.
