INTERNATIONAL Healthway Corp (IHC) has requested for a trading halt on Thursday pending an announcement.
On Wednesday, the Singapore Exchange advised investors to exercise caution when trading shares of IHC.
SGX's review of trading in IHC shares indicated that 60 per cent of the trades since April were conducted by a handful of individuals "who seem to be connected to each other", according to a filing by IHC on the exchange.
IHC has proposed to acquire Healthway Medical Corp by issuing new IHC shares.
