Investors in SGX-listed companies can access more research reports after expansion of coverage scheme
There are now 29 research firms participating in Gems, covering more than 240 enterprises
[SINGAPORE] The monthly average number of research reports on Singapore-listed companies produced under a grant scheme has more than trebled in the nine months to May 31.
Introduced in 2019 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Grant for Equity Market Singapore (Gems) scheme provides incentives to enhance research coverage of companies listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
In July 2025, the scheme was enhanced with increased funding, to boost under-researched segments, as part of the MAS Equities Market Review Group’s broader efforts.
