Jackson Chia to replace Ang Wei Neng as chief of ComfortDelGro's taxi business
ANG Wei Neng, the chief executive of ComfortDelGro's taxi business, will resign from his position to pursue another career path, the transport company announced on Monday (Jan 3) evening. His last day in the role will be April 1.
He will be replaced by Jackson Chia, who is currently group chief sustainability officer and chief executive of ComfortDelGro's private mobility unit. Chia will helm the taxi business concurrently with his existing portfolio.
Ang, who is also a Member of Parliament for West Coast GRC, was appointed to helm the taxi business in 2017. Prior to that, he was head of bus operations and senior vice-president of SBS Transit Limited.
Shares of ComfortDelGro closed at S$1.39 on Monday, before the announcement, down 0.71 per cent.
