Japfa shares surge on long-term contract

SHARES of agri-food company Japfa Ltd surged 13.6 per cent on Friday, after it said it had sewn up a long-term contract with a major dairy producer in China for an undisclosed sum.
The stock gained 7.5 Singapore cents to finish at S$0.625.
