Jardine Strategic 2015 net profit rises 6.6% to US$1.95b

JARDINE Strategic's net profit rose 6.6 per cent to US$1.95 billion, even as revenue fell 8.83 per cent to US$29.39 billion for the year ended Dec 31, 2015.

Earnings per share rose to US$3.25, compared to US$3.02 the year before.

The board recommended a final dividend of 20 US cents per share. This increased the full-year dividend to 28.5 US cents per share - higher than the previous year's 27 US cents.
