Jessica Tan appointed independent director at Capitaland Commercial Trust
MEMBER of parliament Jessica Tan has been appointed as a non-executive independent director at Capitaland Commercial Trust (CCT) with effect from this Thursday.
The 50-year-old, a former managing director of Microsoft Singapore, will also be a member of CCT's audit committee. Her appointment was announced in a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday evening.
The CCT Board noted that her "extensive experience in the IT industry and proven track record in management" would enable her to offer perspectives on the future of work, as well as its impact on office real estate which would be beneficial to the board's deliberations.
She has more than 27 years of professional and leadership experience in the IT industry. She is also a board member at various organisations including Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore Management University and Changi Health Fund.
