THE value of shares bought back by Singapore-listed companies slipped in July against the previous month, but was still up sharply compared to the same month last year.

Some 52.5 million shares were snapped up last month by 37 companies, according to a Wednesday report on the Singapore Exchange's My Gateway investor education portal.
