Keppel Infrastructure Trust appoints new CEO for its subsidiary, City Gas

SGX-listed Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd (KIFM), as Trustee-Manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), announced on Friday that Kenny Tan Chuan Huat has been appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of City Gas Pte Ltd, as trustee of City Gas Trust (City Gas), with effect from Aug 1, 2016.
Before joining City Gas, Mr Tan had been the head of energy and feedstock (Asia-Pacific) of Linde Gas Asia Pte Ltd since August 2011. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in operations, supply and marketing functions at SP PowerGrid Ltd, Gas Supply Pte Ltd and City Gas.
He will succeed Teo Kwan Hai, the acting CEO of City Gas. Mr Teo will move on to take a new role as head, regulations & technical support division and project director, special projects division of City Gas, effective from Aug 1, 2016 as well.
City Gas was constituted as a private trust on Jan 5, 2007 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure Trust. Its core business is the production of town gas.
