The manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust said on Thursday that it has appointed a new chairman as well as another non-executive and non-independent director as part of its board renewal process.
It named Koh Ban Heng, 67, as board chairman and independent director and Alan Tay, 45, as a non-executive and non-independent director. Both appointments take effect on May 1.
Mr Koh is taking over from Khor Poh Hwa, 65, who will retire as non-executive chairman and non-independent director. Mr Khor had held the role since February 2010.
Mr Tay replaces Tan Boon Leng, 50, who will retire as non-executive and non-independent director after being named to the position in July 2013.
The trust manager said that with the appointment of Mr Koh and Mr Tay, it will have seven directors, of whom five are independent directors.
Keppel Infrastructure Trust units shed half a cent to S$1.135 on Thursday.
