Keppel Infrastructure unit wins US$26.7m contract from China waste-to-energy plant

    KEPPEL Infrastructure Holdings said on Wednesday it has secured a US$26.7 million contract to provide technology and services to the Baoan waste-to-energy plant in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The contract was secured through its wholly owned unit, Keppel Seghers Belgium.

    The contract, which was awarded by repeat customer Shenzhen Energy Environment Engineering, is for the expansion of the existing plant.

    It will provide equipment design and technical services for the plant's furnace and boiler components.

    The work is expected to be finished by 2018.
