Keppel-linked Ocean Mineral S'pore awarded seabed exploration deal

    OCEAN Mineral Singapore Pte Ltd (OMS) has entered into a 15-year seabed exploration contract for polymetallic nodules with the International Seabed Authority (ISA).

    It is the first Singaporean company to be awarded a contract for polymetallic nodules. The ISA, a United Nations body that monitors use of international ocean floors, has signed 13 such contracts to date.
