Keppel Singmarine to build two dredgers valued at S$120m

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine has won contracts to build up to two dredgers valued at about S$120 million.
Keppel Singmarine secured the contracts from Codralux S.A to build a pair of trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHDs).
Including owner-furnished equipment, these dredgers are valued at about S$120 million.
The first of the two dredgers is expected to be completed by the second half of 2019.
Codralux S.A has a standing option with Keppel Singmarine for the construction of the second unit, which is due to be exercised within the next six months.
